So I get up this morning feed Jacob and things are going well. Add in a extremely gross diaper which leads to a change of clothes for the second time and I realize I might be late for work. Mom was needing to run an errand so she swung by and picked up Jacob. I get ready, eliminating curling my hair to save time, and run to the dryer to get my clothes out. I open the dryer to see strange black marks all over the inside of the dryer and begin to notice them on our clothes. My mind flashes back to the night before making tags for the school supplies the church gathered for some Deaf ed students....I made the tags with a permanent marker....which I put in my pocket! I hardly ever stick stuff in my pockets. So my 2 pairs of pants that are comfortable...ruined. Brancent's pink polo I convinced him to buy and he looks great in....ruined. Boston T-shirt from Apryls trip to Boston...ruined. And the other clothes...ruined. GRRRRRRR.
On to a lighter note...
This past weekend was great. Saturday we had no plans so ended up hanging out with Apryl (my best friend) and her son Jaxs who is almost 8 months old. He and Jacob looked at each other and made noises so that was very entertaining. That night we went to Pawpaw Gene's house and ended up staying to watch almost all of the nascar race. Sunday was a typical busy day; church, council meeting, women's planning meeting, softball practice for Brancent.
Brancent has 3 softball games tonight (7:30, 8:30 and 10:30 ?!?! ugggg) so hopefully will have some fun pics to post tomorrow....and hopefully no traumatic dryer stories :)
Checking each other out

Such a sweet boy!

Yikes-permanent marker! I have yet to do that, but sounds super exciting! :) That baby of yours is getting way too big--and he's simply adorable!
LOVE those pics! They are gonna be the best of friends!
